| Description/Notes: | Seeking a highly motivated, certified teacher for Social Studies. The teacher is expected to interact with school administration and teachers to create a pleasant work environment. They should be an innovator, self-starter, organized and a positive team member in the district. |
| Qualifications: | • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • Valid Texas Teacher’s certificate in Social Studies, Generalist or Core Subjects is required • Coaching assignments to be assigned based on experience/knowledge/ability • Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned • Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policy, and administrative regulations • Cooperate with other staff members in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements • Create environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students • Use technologies in the teaching/learning process • Keep informed of and comply with state, district, and school regulations and policies • Maintain professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and community members |
